Lagavulin
Persian, classical, Irish fusion with santur, violin, cello, and voices
Emily Tulloch, Maryam Rahmani & Caoimhe Collins brought their Harrigans Lane CoLab residency to a close with an intimate concert celebrating music, poetry, and place. Working on Kaurna country (Adelaide) since 2024, these three artists have woven their distinct traditions — art music, Persian classical, and Irish folk — into a shared, improvisation-led practice shaped by the natural world and the landscapes they inhabit. We celebrated an evening of original music forged where three deep-rooted traditions meet.
