LIIT LIVE: Jazz | Improv | Electronics

3:00pm (AEST) 4:00pm (AEDT)
Saturday March 21
Lagavulin

An improvising trio from Melbourne, LIIT blends contemporary jazz with electronic textures, shaping each performance in real time. Featuring Niran Dasika (trumpet, electronics), Lawrence Folvig (guitar, electronics), and Kyrie Anderson (drums), the group brings together a formidable list of individual accolades. LIIT had a breakout year in 2025, appearing at the Clarence Jazz Festival, releasing their debut EP Obscura, and completing a creative residency in Banff, Canada. 2026 will see a release of their debut album alongside a national tour.

On March 21, LIIT will perform in Lagavulin at the Piano Mill at the conclusion of a creative residency with the Harrigans Lane CoLab artist residency program. During this time, they will build on the work developed at Banff, where the Rocky Mountains became both setting and collaborator. There, they wandered the landscape, listening closely to its rhythms and shifts, and recorded improvised pieces each day shaped by what they heard. LIIT is eager to carry this practice forward and discover what may unfold in dialogue with the living ecosystem of Harrigans Lane—offering something truly unique for the Lagavulin audience.
